What is Dryvar?
Dryvar is our smartphone app from Kagiso Interactive that makes getting great food from your favorite local restaurants as easy as requesting a ride.
When is Dryvar available?
Dryvar is available from 08:00 AM – 10:00 PM, seven days a week.
Where is Dryvar available?
Dryvar is currently available throughout most of the Durban area. Specific neighborhoods in our coverage zone include Phoenix, Verulam, Chatsworth, Durban North, Umhlanga Rocks and Ballito. Pop open the app to see what's available in your area.
How do I start using Dryvar?
How much does Dryvar cost?
For each order, you'll pay the cost of the food, any applicable taxes, and a Dryvar delivery fee.
The delivery fee is primarily based on distance, but other restaurant-specific and marketplace factors may affect the amount you see. Although restaurants have different delivery fees, you'll always know the exact amount before you order.
Each restaurant decides how much it wants to charge for its food. Restaurant prices and offers may vary from what you see when you visit the restaurant in person.
What is the delivery fee on Dryvar?
The delivery fee on Dryvar is a charge you pay to Dryvar on every delivery that helps to cover operational costs.
How do you select restaurants?
We’ve partnered with top restaurants in Durban to bring their menus to Dryvar.
What if I have food allergies or want to change the order?
For most meals that you order through Dryvar, you’ll be able to add special instructions to let restaurants know about any modifications you may need.
What if I have a problem with my order?
We’re here to help. Once you’ve placed an order, just contact our support team and we’ll take care of your issue.
Will my delivery partner bring the meal to my door or inside my office?
Your delivery partner will bring your order right to your door. If it's easiest for you to walk outside—that's fine too. You can always meet the delivery partner at the curb.
Do I need to tip my delivery partner?
Tips aren't included and they aren't expected or required. You can rate your experience each time you order.

Can I tip my delivery partner but not give them a rating?
What do I do if I was double charged?
If you believe you have been charged for a cancelled order or have been charged twice for the same order, it is most likely an authorization hold.
For security reasons, we may occasionally verify that your payment method is valid. When you request an order, Dryvar places a temporary authorization hold on your card and removes it within hours of delivery. This is not a charge and will disappear from your bank statement within a few days.
This process allows us to prevent fraud and ensure that you don't need to add a payment method after each order or trip.
